Project Let’s Give Warmth To One Another successfully completed!

Today we complete the sock knitting project Let’s Give Warmth To One Another initiated by the Foundation. This project invited all of those who know how to knit socks and are willing to donate them to the children living at the orphanages as well as nursing homes; unite big and small so that the short winter days and long winter nights would pass by much quicker.

From the bottom of our heart we thank everyone who gave their time, helping hand and shared genuine kindness with these children. A big thank you to all the elderly ladies from Diemedis and Atgaiva senior day centers in Vilnius, as well as Dane day center of social services in Klaipeda; the elderly ladies living at the Kaunas Panemune senior center, Cekiske elderly care center in Kaunas district, V. Gaigalaitis care home in Gargzdai as well as Klaipeda care center . Also, we are delighted, that this project was traditionally joined by Varpas gymnasium community in Klaipeda as well as Gridin’s Group team, Lithuanian Council for Culture employees.

This year besides 470 pairs of knitted socks also cute sweaters, cardigans, hats and scarves in the nearest days will reach the children living at the orphanages in Lithuania. May your kindness not only keep their tiny feet warm but also their tiny hearts!
