Breath of hope I: Rehabilitation for Severely Ill Children
Our Foundation’s project “Breath of Hope I” was aimed to support the treatment and rehabilitation programs of seriously ill children abroad and in Lithuania. Thanks to the main sponsor, many of the children, involved in this project had already gone to rehabilitations, but some of them had to delay their planned treatments for a long time due to the health problems, as well as Covid 19 situation.
We feel very happy that finally the rest of the children, participating in the project, start their rehabilitations. From the 1st of March, Austėja has started an intensive therapy course at the children’s health and therapy center Rehatera in Kaunas. For the three months our Domantas will be visiting this center every week for to the therapies selected for him. At the beginning of April Erikas’ family is planning to go to the Axis Center in Slovakia, where the boy will receive an intensive care for his development. All the mothers feel very grateful for this opportunity. As one of them wrote, “Thank you for your wonderful work and a big, big thank you to the generous sponsor. Thank you for caring and helping us to grow stronger. Alone we are not able to provide as much as we need in our everyday routine.“
We are very happy to help and we wish all the children to get stronger!
