Backpack full of knowledge 2022: social campaign is completed

Our foundation’s traditional social campaign “Backpack full of knowledge 2022” aimed to help Lithuanian and Ukrainian children to start the new school year without any worries, by providing them with basic tools for learning, has been completed. We closed the door to the summer and together we opened the door to a new school year. Close to 300 Lithuanian children and close to 50 Ukrainians, who are starting this school year in Lithuania, received the necessary school supplies.
Traditionally, we visited the centers under the care of our foundation: Telšiai social service center, Molėtai social support center, Child welfare center of Vilnius district, the Children Day Care Center “Arka” and the Child Welfare and Care Center “Children are children” in Šilute district. Children Day Care Center Dienvidis, Klaipėda Family and Child Welfare Center and DPJC Spiritual Aid Youth Center in Klaipėda also received gifts, as well as children living in Kaunas Municipality Child Home.

Everywhere we were met by children with wide smiles and very responsible social workers.
This campaign would not be possible without our friends and partners, who have been joining us for a few years already, generously donating backpacks, pencils, notebooks, paints, pencils, drinking bottles, pens and other countless things necessary for studying.

We sincerely thank all the companies: UAB “Švyturys – Utenos alus” and Technopolis Ozas, five office centers, Compensa Life Vienna Insurance Group SE Vilnius, Kaunas and Klaipėda offices; Kaunas city companies – ACME Grupė and lawyers Konsus Ltd. As well as Klaipėda city companies – Gridins Group Lt, AG Technologies LTD, UAB Toromega, Marino Group, Marino projects, Baltic Employees and National Hotel Klaipėda.
