“BREATH OF HOPE” PROJECT !
2024-11-20
We continue our “Breath of hope” project. The project created to provide support for the most necessary daily care supplies, medical equipment and therapies for the seriously ill children. ❤️
We strongly invite you to contribute and become a Hero to this extremely sensitive and meaningful project!
While executing the project for almost two years we still receive loads of letters from the parents. Every line and every word in these letters is filled with parents‘ endless love and care for their seriously ill child.
We can not stay indifferent, we are eager to lend a helping hand, together we can make a difference in their lives!!!
Families often face serious financial challenges. Therefore, in response to ongoing requests from parents to help with their children’s daily needs, Charity Foundation “Flame of Hope” is continuing a project to suport seriously ill children.
Project goal:
To raise funds to support seriously ill children by providing:
-
Necessary daily care supplies;;
-
Necessary medical equipment at home (beds, feeding tubes, other medical devices);
-
Necessary therapies (physical therapy, kinesiotherapy, occupational and swimming pool therapy)
The plan is to support 20 children, providing up to €500 per child.
They say, God gives special children to the parents, who have strength of spirit to stand up against more challenges than others. And they sure do. They take care of their little ones 24 hours a day: nursing and raising them, knowing that their children may never get better, but having hope that their love and care will make the life of their children easier and a bit more comfortable.
During four years of executing this project 83 children received help as well as babies from Children’s Home for Developmentally Impaired Babies in Klaipeda.
The amount spent was 45 220 Euro. Children received the essential everyday‘s health care supplies, and equipment that made their lives more comfortable. They majority of the kids involved in this project were able to attend therapies they needed badly.
Let’s help together other children waiting for help. Let’s not leave them alone, let’s be with them on this difficult journey and keep hope alive for these children and their families.❤️
