Insulin pumps for children with diabetes

Aleksandr Gridin charity foundation regularly receives various appeals for assistance, one of them being the appeal to help acquire insulin pumps.

Parents of children with diabetes contact the Foundation when treatment by insulin injections becomes a real torture for them, but they are unable to purchase an insulin pump, which, though appearing helpful is too expensive. And it’s no wonder. In Lithuania, treatment by insulin pumps is not compensated by the state, so parents must buy them themselves. Prices for insulin pumps range from 2 to 5 thousand EUR.

As we alone are unable to help all the children, we invite all indifferent people who are willing to and capable of contributing into helping sick children, to join in providing support.

Our goal is to raise the money for insulin pumps to be bought for children suffering from diabetes.

Let us join our efforts to help children with diabetes by buying insulin pumps for them!!!
