Backpack full of knowledge campaign has come to an end!!!

 

The foundation’s traditional social campaign Backpack full of knowledge, aimed to help children growing up in difficult social conditions to start the new school year without worries by providing them with basic learning supplies, has been completed.We are extremely happy that every year we visit more and more children. This year, nearly 400 Lithuania’s children, as well as children of Ukrainian who continue their studies in Lithuania, received the necessary learning supplies.

Traditionally, we visited the social centers that are under the care of our foundation as well as the new social centers: Telšiai Social Services Center, Moletai Region Association of People with Disabilities, Varėna Social Services Center, Vilnius District Family and Child Welfare Center, Vilnius Children’s Day Center “Metų Lakai”, as well as Children and Youth Day Center Public Institution “Liberi”, Spiritual Assistance Center for Youth and one of the first Lithuanian day centers, Kaunas Old Town Children’s Day Center.

Everywhere we were greeted by eager, curious children with wide smiles accompanied by very caring social workers.
