Breathe of Hope in: support for Martinas’ therapies

Every time we find  a letter in our “Breathe of Hope in” project mailbox, it is incredibly heartbreaking, because all the stories are very sad, as we know what seriously ill children experience, but on the other hand, these are the stories of great strength:  the children’s parents are extremely persistent, fighting for their children every day with great strength.

Today’s story is no exception. It’s not the first time for Martinas’ mother to contacted us. And it’s not the first time we’ve provided support to a boy who will soon be 8 years old. Martinas has a serious disability, and his parents are doing everything they can to help the boy grow and get stronger, but it’s really not easy, as there are four children in the family, and the family’s income has decreased because the mother can’t work as she constantly takes care of Martinas. The boy really needs audio neurosensory brain stimulation, which worked very well after his first trip to the clinic in Belgium. The result was amazing – Martinas began to repeat syllables, became interested in the environment, eat new foods, and many other good changes occurred. It is recommended to apply such therapy every three months, but the family hardly manages it.

Our foundation, having received support from 𝐔𝐀𝐁 𝐑𝐞𝐤𝐚𝐧𝐚 for this project, decided to help Martinas. Therapies will take place in Kaunas in late autumn. We all wish good results and will wait only for good news. A huge THANK YOU to the 𝐔𝐀𝐁 𝐑𝐞𝐤𝐚𝐧𝐚 company for its KINDNESS. The one-time support amounts is 500 Euro.
