Backpack full of knowledge for Varėna and Telšiai social service centers

Summer is counting down its last days and September will soon open its doors. Schoolchildren are eagerly awaiting the September 1st celebration, meeting with friends and learning new things.

We were happy to visit the Varėna and Telšiai social service centers, where we were warmly welcomed by a huge group of happy and eager children, their parents and social workers. We brought with us not less than 52 school “baskets”, we hugged each child and congratulated them on the beginning of a new school year. We listened carefully to their summer stories, gained impressions and expectations for the upcoming autumn.

This day was full of smiles, hugs, cups of tea, photos and happy emotions. Moreover, we weren’t the only ones who brought gifts – we received and brought back home some Dzūkija forest delicacies from Varena, and from Telšiai – a basket of garden treats together with warm and sincere appreciation.

We wish everyone to welcome September with a wide smile and climb the mountain of knowledge with success!
