Breath of Hope: Support for Erikas’ Rehabilitation

Almost 6 years old Erikas was finally able to go to the rehabilitation! The boy is participating in the project “Breath of Hope I”, which, thanks to the main Donator, provides support for the rehabilitation and therapy of severely ill children. Since his birth Erikas can’t eat or breath on his own, he has cerebral palsy and mixed developmental disorders. Finally, the long-awaited rehabilitation took place at the Axis Rehabilitation Center (Slovakia) at the beginning of April. We share his mother’s emotions: “We are extremely grateful to your Foundation and the Donator of this project that Erikas was able to visit one of the strongest and our so long-waited rehabilitation centers. In Slovakia Erikas worked very intensively with the specialists: every day he had full body and facial massages, as well as oxygen, music, manual therapies and a lot of other much-needed activities for the development of the boy and a lot of advices how to exercises at home. At the end of the course Erikas received an award for his work- a diploma with the photo of the team.
“We are so happy that we had this opportunity to come here and to improve Erikas’ health”. We also feel very happy for Erikas and his family and we will send our gratitude and warmest wishes to the main Donator of this project. We wish Erikas all the best. Total financial support provided is 4268 Eur.
