Insulin pump for Ula, the girl from Vilnius.

3 years ago Ula was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, while at that time her piers where making their first steps at school. But the family didn’t give in. After trying an insulin pen the family decided to seek help, so that the 10 year old Ula could enjoy her childhood. Its just that the insulin pumps are quite expensive and, unfortunately, are not covered by the government.

Our Foundation was happy to help and while acting as an intermediary, handed the pump to the girl. Thanks to a company from Vilnius, a financial support was transferred to UAB Monameda, and the insulin pump was put on Ula.
