Tautvydas’ summer

It is so nice and also very important for us to receive news every month about Tautvydas, who has been under our care since birth, and who is currently participating in our foundation’s project “Children’s after school activities”.

Tautvydas successfully graduated from the fifth grade and the diploma is already in his hands! This is a real achievement that makes us all happy.

However, joy was intertwined with worry. May was a difficult month for the whole family – pneumonia, strong antibiotics, hospitalization, later skin inflammation and lung complications again. The planned trip to the sea had to be postponed. Tautvydas is upset because he was waiting for this day so much.

He is already a teenager and is looking for the answers why he is sick and why it is difficult to communicate with others. He has questions and for his mother these are painful experiences because she wants to help her son so much, but she can’t change the circumstances.

As always, the letters received from Tautvydas’ mother are filled with so much love and gratitude. We wish the other half of the summer to be easier and brighter.
