A Year of Creativity and Volunteering: Partnership Between the Children’s Day Center and VDA Students

Our project “The Great Talent – The Little Talent,” running for a year already, is dedicated to children from social day care centers, aiming to develop their creativity, self-expression, and self-confidence through artistic activities.

Every Friday, children rush to the Kaunas Faculty of the Vilnius Academy of Arts, where student volunteers engage them in different activities—sculpting, drawing, discussing art, or simply spending time together and strengthening their bonds.

All this happens only because four student volunteers give their Friday afternoons to children, so it is not surprising that the children are very much looking forward to these meetings.

We are sincerely grateful to these student volunteers from the Kaunas Faculty of the Vilnius Academy of Arts, Aiste, Emilija, Giedra and Gabija. Their involvement, creativity and dedication create a safe and inspiring environment where children can grow, learn and discover their abilities.
