GLASSES FOR HALF A THOUSAND LITHUANIAN CHILDREN! Almost 35,000 Euro were spent on the project in 7 years.

Vision is one of the most important things in our live. We notice how many adults and children are wearing glasses and it is very important to check the vision early, especially in childhood when children grow up. Therefore, it is not surprising that the longest project of the foundation is “Glasses for Children”. This project aims to help children growing up in families in need and children with special needs.
Every January we review the previous year. In year 2021, 108 children from Mažeikiai, Rietavas, Kėdainiai, Telšiai, Klaipėda, Alytus, Vilnius Šilutė, Marijampolė, Kupiškis, Elektrėnai, Klaipėda, Jonava, Raseiniai and Kretinga received their new glasses and their vision was checked. The amount spent last year is EUR 8726.32.
In total, during 7 years of this project, even half a thousand children (551) from all the regions of Lithuania received new glasses!
The total amount spent is 35,000 EUR. We sincerely thank all the supporters and good-hearted people for the help. Sometimes even a little support is very important.
