Matas’ dream came true: new basketball shoes, clothing and paid basketball training for one year!

At the end of the year we received a phone call from one social employee from Šilutė. She forwarded us a letter from one man of respectable age, who asked for help to his grandson Matas. The old man raises the boy alone. Matas’ mother died when he was a baby and a father is not participating in his son’s life. Matas results at school are perfect and his favorite after-school activity is basketball. The grandfather is trying very hard and doing his best for the grandson, but it is not easy to do. According to him, the boy needs new sportswear and sports shoes.

For many years we are friends with one goodhearted woman and her family. She supports our foundation and helps the kids a lot. This time she decided to help by donating 200 Euro. Matas finally will have so long-dreamed basketball shoes and new clothing. The whole team of the foundation was also very touched by the letter and in terms of the project “Children after-school activities”, it was decided to support Matas’ basketball training for all the year!
