Mildutė’s impressions!

We have known Mildutė’s family for a long time. It seems that she was still quite young, only ten years old, standing with a violin in her hand when the girl’s mother, who is raising five children, first approached us. It was very important for the talented girl to attend the annual young musicians’ camp “Orkestras” in Preila. It’s been 8 years since our friendship and every summer we contributed to Mildutė’s development and growth. At the beginning of each autumn, photos of the growing girl would arrive, both alone and even with the orchestra. This year was the last camp, Mildutė graduated from school, and soon we will have wonderful news about the girl’s future, but today we are happy sharing Midutė’s indelible impressions:

 

“During the camp, the young musicians gave many concerts for the residents and guests of Neringa, had master classes with teachers every day, took part in movement therapy sessions, and got acquainted with the history of the place. Such camps are very important for young musicians, because from the usual classroom space, they go out into different spaces, where they can experience more clearly that music is life, and life is music. I am very grateful to the sponsors for this opportunity! Milda”

 

We are extremely happy and proud. Supporting Milda’s camps is part of our project “Children after school activities”, the importance of which we see every year when we send our children to study.
